According to the official schedule, the NEET UG 2025 exam is set to take place on May 4, 2025. The exam will last for a total of 180 minutes (3 hours), starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 5:00 PM (IST). Please note that for NEET UG 2025, the NTA has removed the optional questions from Section B. This means candidates will not have the additional choices or extended time that were offered during the COVID-19 period.

Step-by-Step Registration Process of NEET UG- 2025 Registration
Applicants must follow the guidelines in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website; failure to comply will result in disqualification. So, Before applying, download and review the Information Bulletin and Replica of the Application Form to verify eligibility. Ensure that the provided email ID and mobile number belong to the candidate or their parents/guardians, as all communication will be sent via these channels. To complete the NEET UG 2025 registration, candidates must visit https://neet.nta.nic.in/ fill in their details, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. Here keep that in mind that, submissions in any other mode will not be accepted. Below is a step-by-step process for successful registration.
Step 1: NEET UG 2025 registration
- First, visit the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ and click on “New Registration.”
- It is very important to read the instructions carefully and enter details as only one application per candidate is allowed. So carefully place your details such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Identification Type (Aadhar, Passport, etc.).
- Provide a complete postal address with PIN code.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form in NEET UG 2025 registration
- Provide your personal information, select your category (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS), and indicate your nationality.
- If applicable, specify your PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) status.
- Choose your top three preferred exam cities in order of preference.
- Choose the question paper medium: English or bilingual (Hindi/Regional language).
- Enter your academic details for Classes 10, 11, and 12.
